Please join us on Tuesday, July 22nd, 2008, at 8:30 a.m. at the McGregor School Track, for a Healthy Heart Walk around the track to show your support. Register before walking, at that time.
Open to the Public! Walk with your family and friends! A $10.00 donation is appreciated.

Mystery Dinner Theater in McGregor
McGregor Angels will be hosting a mystery dinner theater Friday, July 25, at McGregor School Auditorium. There will be an afternoon and evening performance, 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm, with dinner at 5:00. Come for the play at 3:00 and stay for dinner or come for dinner and stay for the play. You are the detective as you try and unravel the mystery in "The Red Hat Lady Murder." The class of 1955 is gathered for their class reunion as "Old Man Wakefield" the school janitor discovers a woman's body in the boys' locker room.
Dinner tickets are sold in advance and are available at the Angels Office, 7 So. Maddy Street, McGregor. Prices are: Adult Ticket Dinner/Play-$15.00; Family Dinner/Play-$40.00; Child Dinner/Play-$10.00; Adults Play Only-$8.00; Child Play Only-$5.00; Family Play Only-$25.00. (Child=15 and under. 3 yrs and under are Free) Tickets for the play only may also be purchased in advance or at the door. If you wish to purchase tickets or want more information, please contact Judy Perron at the Angels Office, 218-768-2762.
Red Hat Ladies are encouraged to come dressed in their purple and red for this afternoon or evening of fun and entertainment. There will also be a raffle in conjunction with the dinner.

McGregor Area Historical Society Tour
Saturday, July 26th
Bus leaves the school at 9:00 a.m. and returns at 1:30 p.m..
Cost: $25/person or $40/couple (includes meal)
As part of the Minnesota Sesquicentennial celebration, a tour featuring activities based on Minnesota's past at Savanna Portage State Park will be held on Saturday, July 26. The Park will have people dressed in period clothing to portray some of Minnesota's vast history as well as have fun and and informative programs and demonstrations. An old-fashioned picnic lunch of chicken and potato salad is included in the price of the tour. Eileen (Wotring) Keen is opening her home for that day, formerly Wotring's Resort. She has enlisted the help of the Pine Needles and Pens Writer's group to help show what life was like at a typical "Up North" resort in the 1930's into the early 1940's.
